Thanks for the info, but you are not kidding?

I've check dual mass flywheel only cost $1,000 in Korea before, but I thought event this was too great to replace stock at that time.

I agree, that's $5158.48 w/o even adding in throwout bearing.

For those that are intent on replacing their clutch w/OEM later, I will be selling my stock assy for much much less than this & will be removing it as soon as I receive my vehicle, therefore there will be no mileage or wear on unit.

I know those dual mass are imported from Japan to Korea then export to USA, so price must be high. But, even 10 times expensive Ferrari manual clutch do not cost that much.

If insurance company recognize this price, they'll raise the coverage cost. Hyundai is already consider as high price to replace oem part.

Yeah, Hyundai cheap to buy, but very expensive to fix, esp in accidents.

+1........this is why Hyundai's insurance is so high.

Um, I know about the accident repair prices being crazy... definitely sucks for insurance purposes.
