E-85

It will be very interesting to see how well the 2.0T takes to E-85 tuning.
Out here in the bay , at least with the evos E-85 has become the new hotness.
Here is an decent example of some of the E-85 work done by a local/kick ass shop.

What kind of mods needed to run E-85? I don't think the new Hyundai cars are flex fuel compatible.

Bigger injectors, and a fule pump. a good friend is running 1200cc injectors on his evo, plans are for 350-380ish WHP on stock evo 9 turbo. Evos are Flex fule either, but you can convert them and make silly power.

No need to change out fuel lines or anything? I thought I read e-85 was somewhat more corrosive.. if not that's pretty cool.. although e-85 is not readily available in my area..

We don't have many flex fuel filling stations either, not that I've been looking all that hard since I'm not running on flex fuel. By the way, welcome to the site...

E-85 is something I might consider when I wanna start making big power, but until then, I plan on running 92.

No need really to change out the lines or anything, this is a new car after all
just some tweaking with the ECU and BIG injectors.

E-85 cools the intake charge, thats one of the many reasons turbo cars love it.
