I'm with you on everything except the suspension, I hope the stock track setup is going to be good to go out of the box. From the rumor mills on the 'net it seems it might be m3 like but I guess we'll see.

The GenCoupe will be my summer car. I don't think I'll take the Track version but the GT. I need some goodies inside to not find it plain. Nothing excessive like those "pimp my ride" bastards...just a good GPS unit with MP3 players...I guess it may be available stock. we will see.

Also a mod I think I will buy someday is a S/C setup to push this thing over 400 ponies. Turbo setup maybe good too but more complicated, especially on a V pattern engine. The boost will come when I will be bored of the 310 stock crank HP.

My 2 first cars had around 140 HP...now my car have around 235 HP but after 3 years...I'm bored.
I guess I will find it great for a moment with the 300+ HP but also it will be my first RWD car and I,ll go back with manual tranny

anyone else plan to do road track events or drifting? I think the first products ill try to sell are somehting like these.....

http://www.projectnissan.com/shoppin...ractionRod.jpg

obviously for the gen coupe but its rear multi-link suspension is similar to the 350z, so the idea is going to be similar. i had full pillow mount control arms on my 240sx (camber, toe, traction arms and front tie rods) and the car instantly drove on rails. The idea is to eliminate any slop in the factory suspension by negating factory rubber bushings. Granted you end up with a rougher daily commute BUT you'll have more fun clipping those apex's on the on/off ramps lol

Luis, I may be interested, but will they work well in conjuction with the stock track R-Spec parts, because my intent is to order mine with those parts & replace them with after market only once they wear out. From what I've gathered, the strongest point of this vehicle from the factory will be the suspension. Thus, I'm hoping that I can focus my attention else where leaving the suspension for last. I'm doing this on my bimmer now, it can take off ramps at 55mph with worn 100k parts & used to be able to take them at 65mph. I'm hoping the new Koni yellows, Eibach front & rear sway bars, along with the Cosmo front & rear strut tower braces will enable me to take them at 75mph or higher.

well the idea is basically to replace the factory control arms (along with their bushings). In terms of these arms working with stock suspension (springs/shocks?) it really depends on what you want to feel. In most cases, the arms are swaped up while doing coilovers or upgraded springs/shocks, or the arms are upgraded shortly after getting upgraded suspension because the factory bushings become noticably "soft". I wouldn't recommend going solid mount control arms unless you are going all out with upgraded suspension as well imo. I am planning stance gr+ 3ways and solid arms for example, but the car will be a "track" car getting some daily commute action when im frisky lol.

Thanks Luis, that answered my question. I'm sticking with the stock suspension for a little while & when I upgrade the entire suspension, which I will eventually do, I'll install them at that time. I'm not rich, so I have to pick & choose my mods. Power & weight are most important to me since it'll only have a little over 200Hp & weighs a ton. Once the power is over 400Hp & the weight under 3000lbs, I'll look at wheels & suspension.
