Default Tire Shredding!

Looks like the organizers of this burnout contest went out of the way to make it safe for spectators, but you can't predict everything! Right as this third-gen Camaro starts getting everything all smoky, one of the tires gives out and pops! Ouch!

Since I'm about to order tires for the rear of my car, I was considering making a burnout/drift video for you guys. After seeing this, I may re-think it. I figured I could possibly damage a wheel or something if it blew but DAMN!!! I didn't expect a total rear quarter annihilation. This puts a whole new perspective on things. A 3rd gen camaro is one thing....my $30K Gen is another.

Thumbs down

Dumd kid. No posi with brake on. That's had to happen. The right wheel was turning 2 times faster because the left wheel was blocked.

+1. I've seen tire shredding but holy crap, this is a first for me as well. I had to do a retake on the quarter panel just to make sure I wasn't seeing that wrong.
