I personally think that the thermal depolymerization is a great chance to clean things up and recycle energy. Energy cannot be created or destroyed, only changed from one form to another. So in essence we can take all the energy that has been used to make all the products in our landfills, recycle it back to oil and other useful compounds, thereby doing two things, cleaning up the earth and replenishing energy. Sounds like a win-win to me, plus, it may not be necessary to drive go carts, I mean hybrids (boring!!!!!!!!!).
+1 on all accounts...esp hybrids = boring, which is why I drive a V/8 sport sedan that only gets 18mpg..

Yeah, thought about mentioning that this is getting off topic guys, then wondered where this topic would have gone anyway, no where.

Well, with you around, maybe your A+ game..

On a final note:
One thing that truely bothers me far more than the pollutants that we bring about, is our destruction of the agent responsible for cleaning those pollutants up, our forests. The other half of the carbon footprint coin is the deforestation that has occured over the last century. It makes me sick to see satellite photos of the earth today with so much brown over all the land masses, yet 60yrs ago all was green & blue, with a little brown representing the deserts. Part of the reason that carbon pollutants have such a dramatic effect today on our world is we have destroyed alot of what is responsible for cleaning that up.

OK, I'm really through, thanks for listening. Not debating just commenting.
Note to self: 3 things I usually try not to get into a conversation about: 1) religion, 2) environment, & 3) politics

I love talking religion and politics, even though I'm not a political person. I never understood why people are so not into talking religion?

Because it's a heated subject, kinda like politics, & the environment. Anytime a subject that boarders on peoples values it gets touchy.
