Information about becoming a new vendor

Keep in mind that a lot of time and money has gone into these forums. Most admins and moderators are not paid for their time and energy spent on the forums. Advertising, sponsorship and vendors help pay for their efforts and the site, the servers, the software, the bandwidth, etc. At the same time we provide a platform for companies who want to support the community to showcase their products and services. Please follow the rules below so that it is fair to everyone.

Rules for Vendors, advertising and sponsorships:

1. Non vendor advertising is not allowed, no exceptions. Do not post a link to your business, your contact info, or pricing info, etc. If you're interested in becoming a vendor please contact any admin on the site. It's easy to sign up, and there are a lot of benefits to doing so.

2. You may talk about products offered by non vendors, and even review the product. However it cannot be an advertisement for the product or business, or we will remove the thread. If the business wishes, they can become a vendor on the site and there will be no problems with these types of threads.

3. Signatures may not have advertising for a non supporting vendor. NO EXCEPTIONS

Example: John Johnson
Owner of XYZ Racing.

4. Group buys forum is for use by supporting vendors only, or by users organizing a group buy from a supporting vendor.

5. You can not solicit sales via posts, private messages (PM) or your signatures if you are not a sponsor or supporting vendor (I.E. "I the owner of XYZ, Inc, PM me for prices).

6. All products or services must have prices published for everyone to see.

7. Rules can be added/modified at a later date.

If you wish to just advertise on or sponsor the forums and not become a vendor that is possible as well. Please PM an Admin for further information.

Why become a vendor?

Vendors become special members to the site, able to moderate their own threads in their own forums. They can post information about products, promotions, services, and specials in their own forum. You may find that the traffic from these forums may increase your profits significantly.

Vendors are allowed to make a banner advertisement that will appear to users who browse the forums.

Also vendors may become sponsors of this site by donating funds for better equipment, bandwidth, services, etc.
