If I were to get one I would choose the Red or Black, my BMW is Imola red.

& a ticket saver, at least in my bimmer it is. I get to going 100mph w/o knowing it in that thing.

Bluetooth® $40 wieght? 2lbs at the most
automatic headlights $400 5lbs
cruise control (the only logical choice)
trip computer (wow really?)

Shoulda taken off the TPMS, not need on a track car.
Well I guess my points are moot as based on what I see, I think the Track model is for me. I need my sunroof and power seats =)
They couldn't leave out the TPMS sensors & sell it as a production model, because for 2009 it will be law for all cars to come w/TPMS. Still I would of iked to seen a few more things trimmed out & the use of CF incorporated in at least the roof since that a difficult panel to replace for the avg Joe.

+1...Looks like that they are putting those oil squrters to use on that RS3.8L

Red all the way, not many cars can pull off red well, but this car does it easily.

Because. less people would choose the other model if it was available now. It's a sales technique used to give you something to hope for, but if you can't wait, then you'll get what's available now. For those that can wait, it gives them the option they were looking for so they don't take their money elsewhere.

Plus, to be honest, this car isn't ready for sale IMO. It wouldn't take much to get it ready though. The hardest part would be trimming the wiring harness' down for production.

If I want to get a better stereo that integrates bluetooth I can do that, cruise control not a big deal and aftermarket trip computers exist also.. I guess looking at the big picture not THAT big of a deall...
I hate cell phones & damn sure don't need no Blutooth. I'm not going on a tangent regarding cell phones & their use in cars because it would last for days. But, me personally, I'm glad it's gone & I'm no being charged for it. How many people at the track while driving are on the cell phone. I rest my case. Like was mentioned before for a couple hundered dollars you can get Blutooth or cruise or a trip computer. I personally wish they would strip it down a little more. If anything gets reiinstalled by me it will be the HIDs

+1.........

Gray is still the best looking color on this car IMO, red is 2nd (but don't get it cause I am), & black is 3rd. Just IMO, but if it has R-Spec (respect) emblems on the rear, any of the 3 is good.

Man, you better be careful talking about putting racing stripes on this car. Don't rice this bitch out. I will come find you, steal your shit, paint it, & return it w/no stripes. Also, don't think this is a underhanded way to get a free paint job either. Remember the pink GenCoupe in post your pic w/the white kitty on the side, BET.

+1 although I prefer the sleek sleeper look, debadged and when the car whips by you on the track I flip my neon light switch and the words "OWNED! R-SPEC BABY" lights up and flashes at you.. .. j/k lol
