I'd be interested in seeing pics of how you mount it.

I had a cheap 12" sealed box setup for 8 years in the old car, I miss the low end. I don't need it to pound silly, but the full dynamic range is lacking.

So I am looking through here any maybe I just can't find it in another posting already. Is there a listing off all the car speaker sizes and location on here. Also one that has notes on it already with what kinds of speakers are allowed to be used. For example in my Honda I needed to only use Shallow mount speakers because of the mounting brackets in the door.

I would really like to rip everything out of the car and replace it will a full Alpine Type-X system but before I get into it I want to make sure all the backs on the components are going to have room because I really don't want to have to cut anything.

Do the doors take 6.5" Mids and what are the tweeter sizes? Back seat? I know the sub in an 8" I am going to remove that and replace it with a 10" but anything I add I want to remove all factory parts so when I go to look at added weight I am not going to be added much.

Also the factory amp is that built into the head unit now or do they have an amp for the sub hiding under a back panel or something somewhere?

thanks

I would like to know the same. I am purchasing a Base 2.0T 2010 today or tomorrow depending on what the dealing comes back with. I got 2 offers and the best one gets my business. anyway what does the center console look like with an after market deck? Anyone have this?

My plans:

Aftermarket Pioneer deck
Possible mildly amp the stock speakers (how is the quality? if bad then I will replace with after markets)
Sub and Amp. I have a 12'' handy right now but might go with a 10'' and I also have a 1000watt mono block.

I got this right off Hyundai Service website, but couldn't find anything regarding the size of the speakers. We know that the sub is an 8" & I'm guessing that the door speakers & rear quad speakers are 6".

Thanks a lot big help... Has anyone else ripped into theirs yet on here? Do you have the speaker sizes off hand that would be awesome!

Hi all, new to the forum. I recently leased a 3.8L Track. Today a good song came on the XM, and I tried to turn the volume up. Got really pissed when it displayed Max after 34 on the volume. It seems they are limiting the 300 watt system to about 60dB, when I should be able to get about 100dB out of it. Is there a setting that I can change? Thanks in advance for your assistance!
