Genesis Coupe will be available in nine exterior colors:
· Karussell White
· Bathurst Black
· Silverstone
· Nordschleife Gray
· Acqua Minerale Blue
· Tsukuba Red
· Mirabeau Blue
· Lime Rock Green
· Interlagos Yellow
car is gonna be a weekend race car/joy ride car so it will be waxed and covered/stored most of the time anyway. I've have 4 grey cars and i dont like the white without pearl lol.
Color makes or breaks the look of a car and I've been wondering what colors you guys have been thinking about getting when this beast is launched this spring. Oh, and while you're at it, tell us the trim level you'll be getting as well as any aesthetic mods you'll be doing right off the bat.
well seeing that the "track edition" has limited colors im going with either white or black...i will make that decision once both cars are in front of me
Most everyone has probably heard me say it B4, definately an R-Spec (turbo4, 6sp) in RED (unless orange comes available in R-Spec). Why because red will match the Brembo brakes & seat inserts if available in R-Spec.:jump:
Immediately will remove the head lamps, seperate them, have my bodyshop paint the background to color match my car similar to late model Corvettes. Rear tail lamps will be done similarly or back ground in black, unless an after market becomes available similar to the sedans tails. Windows tinted Lumar 20% all around.
That's the only right off the bat things, because they won't break me $$.
As for me I shall most likely be getting a 3.8 Track model, most likely yellow, black or that metropolitan gray Jrod is talking about. First thing I am doing is putting in a chrome grill. I'm looking forward to removing the Hyundai badges and putting in the winged Genesis KDM ones. Long-term I may replace the seats and have the brown inserts added, because I dig that.
I like white cars too, owned several of them but the dark gray has been calling my name. R-spec model should be available mid-year according to Hyundai, you wont have to wait long.
tsukuba red 2.0T track for me, unless r-spec is worth waiting for. first thing i'd do is the same thing i did to my last 5 vehicles, take off all of the damn badges and have the holes filled, if theres any chrome what so ever, gone (except headlights ofcourse) and i do like the idea of painting the headlight internals to match the car, then lower it and i'll be good to :shifting:
Yeah that's a good combo, I am liking the Volks more and more but I still think I'm gonna go with function over form and get some SSRs, they only weigh around 18-19 lbs. Also welcome to the forums, say hello in the Member Introduction section and tell us about yourself.
I am really leaning towards the White... however I love red as well. (see my charger... love that red) but at the same time I am almost positive i will go with white... I love a white car with black rims and polished aluminum lip... Also even when its a little dirty... looks clean...
I really hate black rims, so I definitely won't be getting those. But my car will be white with some dark tint, and either bronze, gunmetal, or silver rims.
i just saw a yellow 3.8 track at the dealership that looked surprisingly yummy. it might be cuz i was hungry, but it looked real nice. i'm probably gonna go with yellow xD
fits the "holy crapp look at me" look of los angeles anyhow
the mirabeau blue is really nice... but it's not available for the r-spec. black would be my next choice.
