Brads03zx3, I take it you REALLY like to race!! 6 racers!! Living the life man. I personally like the BLAZER the best. You must be out west somewhere, lack of rust is a total giveaway. None of those older cars and trucks you have would hold up like that in the east!! I'm jealous.

Yup, from Cali. The blazer sat in a field for 8 years before I had it and aside from a couple dents was in pretty good shape. And I do like being at the track. The Scion was on track 60 days last year. I'll be moving to Colorado this summer to pursue a Masters in Mechanical Engineering...emphasis Motorsports Engineering. Hopefully some cutting edge damper research. Hidden underneath the ugly alternator brackets and hoses lies a beautiful stroker small block. I hope to build something a bit more serious in the future.

Well. I don't want to bore anyone with ALL the cars and trucks I have had throughout the years, but I will post up what I drive on the tracks and the street now (without giving away too much information)....

Here is a couple of the higher profile cars (and trucks) I race for a living.........

Here is some of the Time Attack cars that might be of interest here. I drive and compete in these cars when I can (and some I will soon be driving).........

...And here is my two daily drivers (minus my truck)......

What was your last car (or current car if not a GC)?

Just curious what kinds of cars current and future owners drove/drive now.

I've always been a big SRT-4 fan, but recently got an Evo IX. I'm kinda feeling like the Evo IX is such a well known platform that I'd rather do something more edgy, like the GC.

What about the rest of you guys?

Man, it looks like NO ONE other than me (and maybe Brads03zx3, but he was racin' his!) drove any beaters! I'm jealous of all your shit! :D

Ok, so here's the list:

My first car? 1988 Ford Tempo. 5spd, because lets face it, the auto was even worse.

Second car: 1980 Pontiac Parisienne. It had a wicked front end, a weak-ass chev 305, and one night, my roommates and I got loaded and painted it. Black. With Rollers. In household-exterior latex. :D On the upside, I didn't care if any one hit it, and occasionally encouraged them to do so. Bought the car for $700, put nearly $300 into it, and drove it for 4 years/230,000km. Actually, I still really miss that car.

Third car: 1986 Pontiac Firebird V6. Got ripped off on that, blew the engine after three weeks, and spent the next year trying to do an engine swap,s omething I'd never attempted before. It ended up being too big a job to do in a buddy's yard, while I was a student.

Fourth car: 1988 Pontiac Parisienne Safari wagon. THAT was a beast. Drove it for way longer than I should have done.

Fifth car: 1994 Mercury Grand Marquis. Not awful. Not great, but not awful. Again, didn't have the money to do much to it except keep it running, but I had swapped in the ECU from a '94 Texas Patrol car, and put dual exhaust on it. It suffered from the typical Ford 4.6 woes of blowing blue smoke, and eventually the EGR and catalytics plugged and set the carpet on fire. Admittedly, a lot of neglect there.

Last car: 2003 Acura RSX premium. I really, really liked this car, but with the agressive financing on everything, including the GC, it made sense to trade it in for a coupe.

Yeah it was a pretty cool setup. but finding partsfor a truck made less than 3 years sucks, and a turbo iron block cast rod chevy v6 is not the most efficient engine. It made gobs of torque though, mine made a little over 330hp and over 450lbft torque.

Had a 93, 90, and then 91 Eagle Talon TSi AWD. Had a 97 and then 94 Pontiac Trans Am. Had an 87 Buick Turbo-T Limited and currently have another that's for sale. Also had an 03 SV-650S as well as a bunch of daily drivers and beaters to save my toys from the weather and tons of miles. Below is the current Buick, 32k miles on the clock and far too many mods to list here....

Looking at getting into a 2.0T Track soon.

My Civic. It's kind of dirty. I had to drive way way way out of town to get that scenery. Bent a few rims on the way too... :dunno:
