Red face GCoupe.winter driving

Hi, I'm Ravenna. New to this forum. Bought my 11 2.0T coupe brand new. From Pittsburgh.PA. Second winter with this car. My winter tires are Michelin Alphins which were really good for me last year combined with 60 lbs. over the rear wheels. This year they are.about half worn and I went with 140 lbs. over my rear wheels. Just curious, what is everybody else going with for winter driving setup? Hows it working out for you?

Welcome to the site, can't help much on the winter tire question as I seldom see snow and only run high performance summer tires.

I just run Continental DWS all the way around. Works really well with no added weight to the back. I am from Chicago and we had a pretty wet winter also was in WI for New Years and well they didn't really plow were I was and had no troubles. It's an awesome tire. I just run them all year round now cause I drive so much.
