Default New from Ontario. Couple of ???'s

My name is Matt. I'm in Burlington. Just bought a 2010 2.0 GT in acqua minerale blue. Love this car.

Used to drive a supercharged 03 cavalier. Lowered, etc..... Such an awesome upgrade.

Been searching through the forums. Lots of good info here. I know about the search function as well!

Basically in the next year or so I'll be looking to:

Lower the car- Haven't decided on coilovers, or springs and struts. I would like a good ride quality. Obviously when you lower anything, the quality is usually less than stock.

Gain some more power- I already read through the wastegate adjustment. I would like to get some hard line charge pipes and a new more efficient intercooler(if possible). A BOV and an intake- doesn't have to be a CAI, but preferred

More solid motor and tranny mounts- started reading through some of the topics.

Short shifter- started reading through the topics

And of course a good exhaust. Preferrably from the turbo back.

I don't have the internet at home yet(I just moved). I gots lots of reading to do. If anybody can point me to any parts sites that would be much appreciated. I see there are a bunch of vendors here as well.

No performance struts are available for the car yet unfortunately so the only options there are stock struts w/ lowering springs or a set of coilovers.

BOV is probably the last mod I would do, no performance will be gained, and you'll get to hear the factory bpv when you get an intake. Personally I like the CP-E intake the best...

Vivid racing is a vendor on here and sells lots of parts for the GC. CP-E isn't a vendor here but they do have a website if you google their name.

Pretty sure they showed a 12-15 peak gain, I would think 10whp would be a safe bet.

I know the BOV won't help performance. I did NOT know that with an intake I would be able to hear the stock one. Guess thats a good start.

I'm new to turbos. I have read lots of info on them, problems with them, etc etc, but never owned a car with a turbo.

This will be a great learning experience.

Thanks guys

Welcome to the site & congrats on your new ride. This is my 1st turbo charged car as well & I've learned a tremendous amount from these forums.
