Default Custom Exhaust Build

Hey I haven't seen a whole lot of them out there yet atleast documented that is and with some sound clips, so I figured I would document mine and show you what is going on.

I am going to keep the stock Cat (for now) then do a downpipe back exhaust 3" all the way... with no mufflers to save weight.

Still looking for a good high flow cat option with all the spots for the sensers to plug-in without throwing a code so if you know of one hit me up!

Right now I have the downpipe and Y-Pipe finished and painted. This weekend I am going to be working on the rest.

I am still trying to find tips for the back... I am looking at something like this.

2 STAINLESS STEEL DUAL EXHAUST TIPS 3.5 3.0 Camaro SS : eBay Motors (item 270539400844 end time Mar-10-10 17:42:05 PST)

Trying to look for some other good links... Anyone got anymore ideas out there for a different style or look?

Nice work! Wish I had the space and tools to do that too, that'd be a fun project for sure.

Whats going on... I got the old exhaust taken off. I was amazing what junk that thing is and how rusted up it was after only 6 months of having the car. I mean sure I just went through a chicago winter on it but wow.

Here are a couple of pics of the Downpipe installed and a small video of what an open dump sounds like just for giggles.

Tomorrow I am going to finish the rest of the exhaust and hope to get a few more pics up with another sound clip!

Finished it this weekend... But it was nasty out all weekend. I am going to get some pics of it today and some sound clips I hope. Sounds pretty good I think.

Still looking for tips though and need to finish painting it.
