What bolt on and parts should i get to bring my gen up to 300whp, while keeping stock internals and turbo for the moment. I'd like to keep it as my daily driver but with a little more power. |

300whp won't be possible with the stock turbo safely as 265whp has already proven to be unsafe. I would not push the stock turbo past 18psi personally, beyond 18psi you're moving hot air, pushing past the efficiency range, and potentially reducing the life of the turbocharger. Keep in mind that with full bolt ons, you will need custom tuning and slightly larger injectors in order to keep your AFRs safe. If you truly want 300whp on stock internals you need a turbocharger upgrade or replacement.

Yeah, what he said
![]() Sad but true, the OEM turbo just doesn't flow enough. Although some have said that it's safe to run 20psi up to about 5000rpm, since the turbo is still in it's efficient range at that point. Seems 250ish whp is the most the stock turbo is going to be good for. |

+1.....I wanted to break the 300whp mark on stock turbo pretty bad, but it just can't be done dependably if at all. Like they said, shoot for 250whp until you are ready to build the bottom end & upgrade the turbo. BTW here's a bolt-on list to get you started: -Exaust -Intake -FMIC & piping -BOV -Larger injectors -Colder spark plugs -Intake Manifold Gasket -Internal WGA upgrade -MBC or EBC -Custom tune

I personally believe that 300 whp is fine without a built block, just need a turbo upgrade and the other bolt ons to go with it. You could go the 19t upgrade route through forced performance.
