New Rear Look

Hey everyone i got my gen back friday and i was soo freakin happy. After 3 weeks of not having it while it was been fixed from the wreck. When i got off working this afternoon i worked on the rear.

Tinted the Taillights, Tinted the H badge , Removed the GENESIS and 2.0T badges, Also have my new ARK Single Exit Exhaust and Bumper Filler on.. Heres a picture of it..

What ya Think?

The picture was taken with my DRIOD during the daytime with the Running Lights on..

4 coats of Nite Shade and 2 coats of Clear, Wet sanded everytime between coats turned out perfect!

^^^Looks great.....although I think you should try to get a little more shine out of those tails. Maybe some really fine sand paper & some buffing would bring them out.

When I get my ARK single exit, I may have to pick up one of those filler pieces to hold me over until I can afford to pick up the RMR diffuser. Did you get the filler piece from ARK or SFR?

I got the filler piece from ARK. Its not listed on the site but just ask about it they have it in stock.

I wet sanded with 1500 grit.. that was pretty dang fine lol. but i do need to put some wax on them and buff it.

+1 on that, there is not a lot of light coming out of them. I would be worried about people not paying attention with them. Mine are tinted but not so dark, plus the led's in the spoiler really help out.

that wasnt with the brakes on.. that was just with the running lights on. It was about 6:00pm when the shot was taken so still really bright outside. when u press the breaks it really lights up and you can see very well. I had a buddy follow me around to make sure.

It looks really good, hows the exhaust sound in person? Do you feel any kind of power gains?

I personally think your "rear" looks great. Since you were over Saturday, I saw it up close and personal! LMAO Seriously, I am glad you got your car back...you looked like a kid in a candy store! Congrats! We both are happy for you.

Finally caught Tufast!
