I would for sure not recommend removing the ram air vent... It does work on our cars. Why I love the CP-e intake. But yes you do gain a lot of noise by removing the silencer from the intake pipe. Good write up.

I've got a AEM cone filter that fits on the OEM intake hose if you want it. Used it only a month or two.

I figured it out.. I used a Fujita filter that i had left over from my Cobalt. It sounds great now..
