i would appreciate knowing what the piston sizes are.

my guess is that the smaller frictional area on the front pads was a quick fix for not getting proper temperatures when street driven given the large rotor mass.

piston info anyone? i'd like to calculate the bias.

I'ma new Genesis owner and I'm really new to Brembos on a car. Thanks for this very informative post, but I've got a few comments regarding brakes. Hyundai seems to think fluid lasts forever (I didn't see any recommended change cycle in the owners manual) , but I know that it hydrates (gets water in it) and I change it on my scooter at least every two years. I plan on doing the same on the Genesis. I also make sure that I carefully clean the areas around the piston seals whenever I change pads. I feel this helps to insure good retraction of the piston and seals when you release pressure on the brakes. Are the Brembo calipers hard to pull for cleaning or is this generally unnecessary with car Brembos? One last question, do the clutch hydraulics share the same reservoir with the brakes? I'm looking forward to hearing the results of your evaluation of the aftermarket pads. Thanks again.
