My parachute solution...for now

Anyone who has removed the stock muffler and gone to a single exhaust will realize how much open area there is under the rear for the rear bumper to catch air. There are other methods for dealing with this and here is mine.

I used a thin sheet of polypropylene that is very durable and flexible. Does not look the greatest but unless you are laying under the car you won't see it. It is hard to get good pics when the car is only a foot or so off the ground.

I had previously taken off the OEM muffler heat shield and have a fiberglass exhaust plug for the drivers side. I used three of the heat shield studs for mounting, two screws into the fiberglass plug and 6 of the OEM phillips head push pins for attachment.

Nothing shows unless I ran over you and you are looking up. I plan someday to do the whole underside. Plastic from the sides to the rails. Aluminum sheet over the exhaust and driveshaft. 3" plastic down along the outside edges.
