i doubt a dealership is selling them at invoice. at my dealership were selling them at 2500 over msrp because there new and there a hot car right now. that car that was sold under invoice was probably damaged during shipping. ive heard of some dealerships that will that new cars with body damage from shipping and sell them at an unbeatable price.

the genesis coupe looked kinda funky in pictures but then i saw one down my street and it looks pretty good.
Pictures don't do the car justice.

When I saw one in the metal for the first time, all I could think of was "This is a Hyundai?"

When I was handed the keys to my 2.0T GT, all I could think of was "This IS a Hyundai!"

My dealership was trying to sell them at $5k over MSRP, but didn't sell one, then dropped to $2k over MSRP, still no sale. Changed GMs & he is selling them at MSRP all the time. Better to sell them at MSRP & make some money, rather than asking way over MSRP, not selling any & making no money.

In other words I doubt that there will be many people getting these things near invoice, but they don't have to pay over MSRP if they are willing to travel a little, because there are too many dealerships represented on these forums that are already selling them at MSRP or below. If anyone pays over MSRP, you lose respect from me.

I can get the dealer to go for invoice. Also, the Think Tank deal gets you at or just below invoice.

Some members here are on the Hyundai Think Tank. They were offered employee type pricing.

I can't imagine paying MSRP. I got mine for $700 below invoice.

I been shopping for a GC these past few weeks and have found some pretty good deals. The dealer close to my home has a 2.0T with navi and is selling for 24,000. Then i found a 3.8 up the road a little bit selling for 23k and some change. I still havent decided if i want the 2.0 or 3.8....
