That's what I meant when I said we know why they are normally ran, to filtrate the air. But I'm now wondering if they were possibly running them to see the air quality. I noticed that the filter housings are clear giving you the ability to see how much foreign particles are suspended in the air pulled through them.

That is correct, HKS always has in their instructions to run these inline filters, same goes for their boost controllers also.

Later Dr Turbo

Also the BOV can be as close as it want to the t-body, the closer the better really. Extra boost bounces right off the throtle plate and then out the door, it doesn't have to back track through the system to find it's way out.

damn I cant wait to get into this car... seems like so much potential... ripping out the stock boost control and vac lines and finding a better clocking of the turbo are going to be interesting to get a cleaner bay and better design into some of the charge pipes and such.

I've always been a huge fan of the SSQV I've got a brand new version 2 already sitting in the box. I've also got a brand new Tial external mv-s 38mm wastegate sitting in the box for this car. I'm going to just keep buying supporting mods for it until the R-spec comes out Now someone needs to make me a top mount T3 manifold

Great pics!! thank you

Yeah, I've seen it & it is overpriced, but so is just about everything on that site. Wait & you'll see much better values available here in the U.S.
