Evo 8/9 turbo swap kit

Elite Autosports in Minnesota is wrapping up their Evo 8/9 swap kit for our cars. Looks like it comes with the manifold, downpipe, oil/water lines, some heat shielding. Good thing about the kit is it lets you reuse any intake and FMIC that lines up with the factory turbo. You'll have to source a turbo yourself but they can be had for $300-$500 online or you can go with one of the FP series. Looks like right around $1500 would be enough to get everything if you got a used turbo and used injectors!

Pretty sweet deal for those wanting twinscroll turbos. Should let us take advantage of the Evo turbo aftermarket. Here's the info I grabbed from the other site.

Here's the manifold for the Evo 8/9 turbos!!

This kit aligns to the factory intake location, so this is one less thing to worry about. Also, we will start with an introductory price that I'm sure all will like!

Feel free to comment and PM questions. Take into consideration that this is a prototype and slight changes may occur after dyno and testing.

We're ready to take deposits but we will wait till we become sponsors to make it official.

As soon as we're given a go, I will start a new thread to take orders!

Here's some pics!!

They'll be using CMD so far. They got the turbo kit in and it runs without any tune tweaks. They said 11.8:1 a/f ratio up top with the Evo 8 turbo in there. The car they did it on is bone stock so far so I think they'll probably only hit 280-300whp, but with other bolt ons I would assume 350 is possible, not sure though. Haven't done much research on Evo's before.

Sounds like it, pretty good news.

They apparently have the evo 9 turbo in there now as well. This will really open up some sweet turbo options. They're selling the manifold for $450 on sale now, tempted to grab one and hang onto it at that price.

Piggyback holding you back? Don't like canned tunes? Want control over your own cars tune?

They were looking at doing a cast manifold for a t3 before the evo one, so perhaps they'd be interested in doing a cast evo manifold if they get enough interest. Money talks...
