you're very welcome

I have an update today, my car was dyno tuned, the weather was relatively much cooler today due to heavy rain but still hot compared to USA spring, fall or winter weather.

my car made 411whp, coolant temp got as high as 95C but the IAT got only up to around 50C at WOT pulls, big difference there.

time for me to post some data

this pic is just after the 3rd gear pull at the dyno. Coolant temp was 96.5 *C and IAT was 40.3 *C

max rev data during the pull, coolant temp was a bit lower at 89.1 *C and IAT at 39.4 *C

I hope this helps

This was a common mod on the 1st Gen Mazda6s. While no one had any definitive measurements, most thought that they were less likely to lose power from heat soak. Being in the southern US, (Memphis) I was always looking for ways to keep the intake air cooler.

Berdugo, that's pretty good results. I've done multiple mods in order to keep temps down and have more planned.
