I can see the gears turning in your head! You 4b11T guys may very well be in good company with the Theta engine as it sounds like more and more parts will be interchangeable.

lol Tufast you sound like me. "Why not upgrade his and why not that??" We just gotta wait and see what the stock car can do first though. Maybe Hyundai is giving us a gold nugget and we're going to have plenty of room for growth with the stock parts... If not it seems like the companies like Buschur, PowerAxel, Realtune and Vivid to get us the parts we need to go fast reliably. I can't wait!

If the Genesis head really is the same as the Evo head that would be awesome! Does anyone know if the bottom end is the same?

Hello,

I would agree with everyone who has given positive feedback regarding Cosworth parts. We have had several successful installs in both the Subaru and EVO platform. Great product from start to finish!

The only thing shared with the EVO & SRT4 engines is the basic block design. It was designed by GEMA, a conglomeration of Hyundai, Mitsubitishi, & Chrysler. The Hyundai engine in a 2 bolt main, rather than the 4 bolt main used by the other manufacuters.

From what i can tell so the only things that are shared between the theta and 4b11 are the cams. everything else looks to be different dimensionally besides sharing the same bore and stroke.
