EH! all!

Im a fellow Canuck and a fellow GenCoupe member. What happened to them? Anyone know?

Anyhow, hope everyone is as excited as i am, but we need to put the pressure on. I was told than any Hyundai dealer can scan the ECU to get the s/n off of it, however after a trip to my local dealer yesterday, i was told that the ECU can easily be located under the glove box and the s/n's are on it. I guess i may have to pull it out and get the numbers to ensure that we have the same versions as the US (i am sure we do).

Maybe it can be done by diagnostic check, but since there is no reason for it other than to send info to an aftermarket tuner, Hyundai wants to charge me for the service. Screw them, ill get it myself.

Hope it comes soon as i am sitting here with my VISA card in my hand waiting for a Toronto tuning house to either be a dealer or for me to send away for the PowerX module.

We can surely arrange a group buy?!?!?! You hear that Mr. PowerAxel? We up here in Canada are just as nuts about this car!!!!!

Keep up the great work!

^^^^Zmeisters welcome...not sure what happened to them, but if I had to guess, all those false accts finally had their toll.

The ECU is not located near the glove box, but in the engine compartment on the drivers side near the firewall.

You can get part# & s/n #, but will have to have scan done to retrieve rest of data, do you have scan tool?

the OBD connection plug is located in the cabin on the drivers side under the dash for scan tool connection.
